We had a delightful stay at the charming Villa San Donato B&B. The location was perfect, just a short 5-minute walk from the old town wall and all the major sights of the city. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfasts offered a wide variety of sweet and salty options. Luca, our friendly host, was incredibly helpful and provided excellent recommendations for local restaurants. it was the perfect base for exploring the beautiful city of Lucca and experiencing the authentic Tuscan food tradition.

My stay at Villa San Donato B&B was absolutely perfect. The room was clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything I needed, including a kettle and coffee/tea. The large bed had a wonderful mattress, and the balcony offered a lovely view of the garden. The daily cleaning service ensured that the room was always tidy. The hosts, especially Luca, were incredibly friendly and helpful, even picking me up from the train station. The location near the city walls was quiet and allowed for a restful stay. The Tuscan atmosphere of the villa added to its cozy charm. The continental breakfast provided a great start to the day, and the option to hire bikes was a bonus. I only wish I had more time in Lucca, but my stay at Villa San Donato B&B was absolutely perfect.

We stopped in Lucca on our way from Belgium to Rome and had a lovely stay at B&B Lucca in Villa. Luca and Claudio made us feel at home with their warm welcome and helpful tips. The atmosphere and room were charming, and the bed was super comfortable. The location was perfect for exploring the center of Lucca, and having parking available was a plus. We will definitely come back!

We had an absolutely exceptional stay at this B&B near the city walls of Lucca. The lovely old manor house with its comfortable studio room made us sleep like babies. The breakfast served in the garden was a wonderful way to start the day, with a variety of delicious options. The staff, especially Alessandra, were incredibly delightful and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They even saved us when our car broke down, providing assistance and translation at the local garage. We have never been looked after so well and we will definitely be returning to Villa in San Donato. Grazie mille!

The location is perfect, just a 20-minute walk to the city center of Lucca. On-site parking is available. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, with comfortable beds and ample storage. The room also had air conditioning and a drinks cooler. Luca, the host, was incredibly attentive and helpful. He recommended a restaurant, Giulio, which we enjoyed so much that we ate there both nights. Luca even provided us with a generous "breakfast to go" when we had to leave early for the airport. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.
