the hallways are an absolute maze, we'll call it character, just not the romantic kind! my door was a workout in itself, hard to open like it was playing hide and seek. i couldn’t believe there was no iron in my room, a travesty for any respectable hotel! almost would’ve left a good review, but just couldn’t.

Unique building structure, historical atmosphere and decor, spacious and clean rooms

Inconsistent air conditioning effectiveness in the rooms must be improved!!! The limited power outlets were very frustrating!!! The elevator service was unacceptably slow, making stairs a necessity for many guests!!!

The staff were as sweet as peach cobbler, especially Nikko and Massimiliano, they helped me feel right at home. Room was warm with a mighty fine big bathroom! Breakfast had y'all's essentials. Hot drinks available anytime. Just watch out for those stairs if you're tired from a day of sightseeing!

Had a proper boss time, la! The location's spot on, near the Duomo, and the brekkie spread was dead lush, with fresh fruit and pastries. Only downside was navigating the stairs after a long day, but it was worth it for the views and lovely vibe. Definitely coming back!

the room seemed nice enough, until i realized it was boiling hot the whole time—who knew fans were a substitute for air conditioning? not me! and don’t even get me started on my very own escape room door, really fun to open. honestly, i was ready to give this place a good review, but just couldn't, given those “charming” features.

The location is just insane, right near everything! I could pop over to the Duomo in a flash. The breakfast was a lekker spread, especially after a long morning stroll. Also, the staff were super friendly and quick to help me find my way around—I felt right at home!

the hotel is in a fantastic location, just steps away from the restaurant in front of santa maria novella. our room was spacious and included everything we needed. a big highlight was getting to enjoy the stunning dining room and cozy public spaces, which felt like we were living in a historical palazzo. the staff was super helpful, especially when they stored our luggage after checkout.
