Stunning entrance and luxurious decor made me feel like royalty! The rooms were chic with fancy chandeliers, and I adored the small pool and sauna that were excellent for unwinding after a long day.

However, my room cleaning left me guessing if a raccoon had moved in. And the mixed vibes made me wonder if I was in a posh hotel or a comedy club!

I recently had an enjoyable stay at The Westin Excelsior, Rome. The staff were extremely attentive and went out of their way to make me feel welcome. I particularly loved the breakfast buffet, which offered a fantastic variety of delicacies, including made-to-order eggs and a wide selection of pastries. The luxurious decor throughout the hotel, along with its rich historical charm, truly enhanced my experience.

Service left much to be desired, with slow check-in and inconsistencies from staff, particularly at the front desk. Rooms exhibited signs of age and required updates to meet 5-star standards.

Hotel was quite charming with old-world decor. Our room was huge and clean. We were thrilled to find we had a balcony overlooking a quiet street—perfect for enjoying a morning coffee. The breakfast was a highlight too, with a nice range of options, especially the eggs made to order! Those little touches really made our time special.

It wasn’t exactly inexpensive, but given the elegance, I’d say it was acceptable.
