Our stay at Tensing Pen was absolutely amazing. One of the most memorable moments of our trip was sitting down for lunch in the bar/restaurant area. The view was drop-dead postcard gorgeous, truly breathtaking. The entire property had this magical feel to it that is hard to describe. The staff went above and beyond to make our honeymoon special, decorating our room with personalized congratulations and even leaving us a bottle of Jamaican rum. The service was exceptional, with Razor at the bar making the best pina coladas we've ever had. The food at the resort was delicious, with options like lobster, jerk chicken and pork, and fresh fish. Everything was so convenient, we didn't need a car as everything we needed was right there. The room was excellent, always perfectly cleaned, and the coral cliffs and chaise lounges gave us a beautiful view of the water. Plus, we made lots of friends with both the staff and other guests. We loved every minute of our stay at Tensing Pen and have already made reservations for our next trip. I highly recommend this hotel for an exceptional vacation experience.

Walking to different places was a fun way to explore the area. the beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. Having the option to stock the mini-fridge with drinks at a low cost was also a nice touch.

The included breakfast was basic but acceptable. It's important to have Jamaican dollars, which can be obtained at the airport, for exploring the area as prices for currency exchange at the hotel were higher.

my recent stay in negril was amazing! the breakfast was customized to perfection, sampling local delights like akee and sawfish. jumping off the wooden walkway bridge into the blue waters was refreshingly seductive. the fabulous cliff top location provided a private and serene experience, with comfortable loungers and hammocks by the ocean side patios.

the staff members were genuinely happy to be there and engaged in meaningful conversations with the guests. It was evident that the resort had a low turnover rate, as we met several returning guests during our four-day stay. the private accommodations, nestled in dense vegetation, were like having our own little huts. the lifeguards were attentive and even showed us sea urchins, adding to the fun experience. Another highlight was the swimming pool, and we also enjoyed the nearby restaurant, Catch a Fallen Star. With its pristine location and warm setting, Tensing Pen made our trip truly worth it.

One negative aspect of our stay was a new employee who charged us an outrageous fee for a banana in the dining area. However, this was quickly resolved when another staff member knocked on our door later that night and offered us a bunch of bananas free of charge.
