We recently stayed at this hotel for a relaxing getaway and had a wonderful experience. The location is perfect, right on the sea with breathtaking views. The hotel offers a free shuttle service to the nearby ferry port and train station, making it convenient to explore the surrounding area. The room amenities were top-notch, with comfortable beds, a sitting area, and a terrace to soak in the stunning scenery. The staff were friendly and helpful, even going out of their way to deliver dessert to our room after our relaxing onsen bath. we were thoroughly impressed with the service and quality of this hotel.

During my stay, I explored the charming surroundings of the hotel, like the pier for a trip to Miyajima island and an okonomiyaki restaurant nearby. I also had the chance to visit the Miyajima temple, which was conveniently located just a short distance away. The room I stayed in was spacious and clean, providing a comfortable stay. The breakfast offered was delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful. the hotel had a relaxing onsen, adding to the overall experience.

That the restaurant options in the hotel seemed to have small portions for a high cost, which was slightly disappointing.

The view from our room was breathtaking, with a clear sight of the Floating Torii Gate. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, providing all the amenities we needed. The hotel had a great onsen, both indoor and outdoor, which was open from early in the morning until late at night. This was convenient for us as guests.

We had a great stay at this hotel. the location was very convenient, with a shuttle available from the nearby station. the ocean view from our room was stunning and we enjoyed watching the sunrise. the private outdoor Onsen was a highlight, perfect for relaxing. the room itself was spacious, which was a pleasant surprise compared to other hotels in Japan. the staff were incredibly friendly and the customer service was exceptional. We also loved the variety of restaurants available within the hotel. it was a fantastic value and we had a pleasant stay.

The Aki Grand Hotel was stunningly beautiful, with a majestic scale model of the famous Torii gate and Shinto temple. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a fantastic stay. The views of the sea and Itsukushima Island were breathtaking. The hotel provided easy access to Miyajima Island with its own ferry and had a convenient shuttle bus to the train station in Hiroshima.

Despite some inconveniences, I managed to find some good spots in the area. the view from my room was also a pleasant surprise, especially at night. the shuttle bus service was efficient and convenient to reach key locations nearby.

My xmas experience at the hotel wasn't up to my expectation. the language barrier was a major issue, with no English speakers around, I struggled to communicate basic requests.

However, the hotel's location was convenient with a free shuttle to/from the train station and regular time intervals. There were also tourist-friendly restaurants not far from the ferry for the island and to Hiroshima station. Additionally, the room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and some rooms had a great view of the ocean and the floating torii.

The hotel's Japanese restaurant was overpriced and the food was mediocre.

We were pleasantly surprised by our recent stay at Aki Grand Hotel and Spa. The hotel staff, although limited in English-speaking ability, were friendly and went out of their way to accommodate our needs. The onsen at the hotel was a highlight of our stay, providing a truly relaxing and enjoyable experience. The hotel is a bit stuck in the 80s, but everything is well-maintained and functional, making it feel like a nostalgic time travel. The complimentary shuttle from the station was a convenient touch. Although the food options at the hotel were not the best, we found better and cheaper options in the nearby village. we had a wonderful stay and would definitely consider staying at Aki Grand Hotel and Spa again.
