Our stay at Apa Hotel Ueno Ekiminami was fantastic! We stayed for a week and enjoyed its superb location within the shopping streets and close proximity to great yakitori restaurants. It was also only a 5-minute walk to the train station. Despite the room being a bit small for a couple, we managed just fine. The hotel provided amenities and new towels daily, and there were multiple convenience stores nearby. We loved the fact that they had a portable washing machine available for free use, as they didn't have any coin-operated machines. Lastly, the hotel cleaned our room every day, just like Toyoko Inn.

Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

The hotel's central location was a major advantage, with plenty of shops, stores, restaurants, and pubs nearby. It ensured that I never felt bored during my New Year stay. the rooms were clean and tidy, offering a comfortable and pleasant stay. Another highlight was the impressive TV in the room, which was bigger and better than what I expected at this price point.

One of the biggest letdowns was the lack of a microwave in the room. It was inconvenient to have to go to a different floor to use one.

It was easy to explore the city, and we never got bored. the TV in the room was a pleasant surprise, it was much bigger and better than what we expected and had great views directly from the bed. Plus, one extra detail we enjoyed was having the small portable washing machine available for free.

The price we paid for the room was a little high for what we received. the bed wasn't the best quality, and the room was quite small.

The staff at Apa Hotel Ueno Ekiminami were incredibly polite and helpful during our stay. They made check-in and check-out easy and were always available to assist us. We were also impressed with the size and quality of the TV in our room, which was much better than expected. Despite the small room size, we were able to get a good night's sleep with minimal external noise.

There were a couple of drawbacks to our stay. we were disappointed that we couldn't control the temperature in our room.
