Our stay at Apa Hotel Ueno Ekiminami was fantastic! We stayed for a week and enjoyed its superb location within the shopping streets and close proximity to great yakitori restaurants. It was also only a 5-minute walk to the train station. Despite the room being a bit small for a couple, we managed just fine. The hotel provided amenities and new towels daily, and there were multiple convenience stores nearby. We loved the fact that they had a portable washing machine available for free use, as they didn't have any coin-operated machines. Lastly, the hotel cleaned our room every day, just like Toyoko Inn.

Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

It ensured that I never felt bored during my New Year stay. the rooms were clean and tidy, offering a comfortable and pleasant stay. Another highlight was the impressive TV in the room, which was bigger and better than what I expected at this price point.

One of the biggest letdowns was the lack of a microwave in the room. It was inconvenient to have to go to a different floor to use one.

The staff at Apa Hotel Ueno Ekiminami were incredibly polite and helpful during our stay. They made check-in and check-out easy and were always available to assist us. We were also impressed with the size and quality of the TV in our room, which was much better than expected. Despite the small room size, we were able to get a good night's sleep with minimal external noise.

There were a couple of drawbacks to our stay. we were disappointed that we couldn't control the temperature in our room.
