They spoke perfect English and provided lots of helpful hints and recommendations for things to do in the city. I also loved the large common room on the second floor, where I could relax and make myself comfortable. It was great that even if I arrived early, I could store my luggage, take a shower, and use the computer while waiting for my room. And when I checked out, I was able to sort things out in the evening before leaving.

That the bunks in my dormitory didn't have curtains, so there wasn't much privacy. It would have been nice to have some sort of divider.

I recently stayed at a great hostel in Kyoto for over a month. The hostel is located near the station and is perfect for travelers of all ages. The common kitchen is a fantastic feature, and the breakfast provided for 500 yen is both delicious and affordable. The prices at this hostel are some of the cheapest in the area. Additionally, the hostel's location allows for easy access to the main shopping areas and famous attractions of the city. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the cleanliness of the rooms and shared facilities exceeded my expectations. The fast and reliable WIFI was a bonus. I had a wonderful experience and even made new friends during my stay.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, and convenient location close to Kyoto station. I had a great experience at this hostel. the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, providing me with maps and tourist tips. the rooms and bathrooms were always clean and well-maintained. the location was also very convenient, just a short 10-minute walk from Kyoto station. One thing that I really enjoyed was the option to hire a bike to explore the city, including the famous Fushimi Inari shrine.

Menu for breakfast could have been more varied.

Clean and comfortable rooms, friendly staff, convenient location near Kyoto station. I stayed in a private room with my own bathroom, which was really clean and no-frills but comfortable. The hostel is within walking distance to Kyoto station and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. I had a pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel.

We had a fantastic stay at the hostel! the front desk staff at K's House were amazing - they spoke perfect English, answered all our questions, and provided us with helpful information. the laundry facilities were good, and we enjoyed spending time in the large common room. the adjoining bar/restaurant offered reasonably priced breakfast, dinner, and drinks. the location was convenient, with a bus stop nearby and Kyoto Station just a short taxi ride away. the shared bathroom facilities were clean and sufficient. I had an amazing value for my money at K'S House in Kyoto. The room was clean, comfortable, and even had a cozy couch. The location was convenient, just a short walk from Kyoto station, and the staff treated me like a VIP throughout my stay.

The breakfast menu could use a little improvement, maybe more variety or some local specialties to add to the experience.
