There were a few issues with the maintenance of the rooms. Some guests reported that certain amenities, such as the coffee maker and clock radio/Ipod dock, were not functioning properly and were not promptly replaced.

Beautiful coastal views from the restaurant and bar area. The outdoor plunge pool and hot tub were enjoyable. The beds in the luxurious rooms were comfortable. The coastal trail next to the property is perfect for a challenging run. The black bean veggie burger was the best ever.

black rock oceanfront resort in ucluelet surpassed our expectations during our recent stay. the waterfront unit we booked had breathtaking views, luxurious rooms, and comfortable beds. the bar staff were great, and the beach being close by was a wonderful addition to our city getaway.

breakfast experience missed the mark

Staying here was an amazing experience! This place is located on some cliffs right above the open ocean. The views are absolutely spectacular. During my stay, I was impressed with the exceptional service provided by the staff at reception desk. They were professional but also extremely friendly & knowledgeable. The rooms were beautifully done out and had great amenities such as ironing facilities, tea, and coffee facilities, kitchen, etc. I also enjoyed the spa & wellness centre and the outdoor swimming pool. The beach access was also a great added bonus.

Highly recommend this venue to anyone.

Lulled to Sleep by Ocean Waves

The hotel had a beautiful lobby with amazing views of the ocean. the staff at the concierge desk were friendly and helpful, providing us with local dining suggestions and information about the amenities available. We also appreciated the cleanliness and arrangement of the room, as well as the bonus chocolates and personalized card.

Despite claiming to offer a "panoramic unobstructed ocean view," we found that several large trees obstructed our sight. the restaurant options were limited due to many of them being closed for the season.

The scenery around the hotel was breathtaking! the hotel also offers two complementary amenities that made our stay much more enjoyable. the location of the hotel is perfect, surrounded by nature and close to the beach. the room was cozy and comfortable, making it an excellent place to relax.

One negative aspect was the limited restaurant menu, although the food was delicious. Another negative point was the uncomfortable bed.
