staying at ben's guesthouse was a dream! the team went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. the attention to detail in the room was impressive, and the convenient location made it easy to explore kyoto's top sights. would definitely come back!

Wifi was spotty at times.

The hotel is located in a vibrant, local neighborhood, with convenient access to public transportation. It is super close to a train station and within walking distance of several bus stops that go around the city. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-equipped with amenities such as a washing machine, kitchen, and free pocket wifi. The staff is friendly and helpful, providing excellent service throughout our stay. We even received unexpected gestures like sparkling wine on our first night and assistance with luggage.

The lack of an elevator, which may be inconvenient for older guests or those with heavy luggage.

We had a wonderful stay at Ben's Guesthouse. the spacious apartment had everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen and a laundry machine. the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. the guesthouse was also very clean, as it is new. We appreciated the convenience of being close to bus stops, grocery stores, and restaurants. the pocket Wi-Fi provided was a bonus, allowing us to stay connected while exploring the city. the amenities were great, with essentials like towels, cooking utensils, and even shoe deodorizer spray.

There was nothing I didn't like.

The host was incredibly helpful and spoke fluent English, making communication easy. The location was conveniently close to a bus station and had plenty of nearby stores and restaurants to choose from. The room was clean and well-equipped with everything we needed for our stay.

The stairs to the 3rd floor were steep and made carrying our heavy luggage a bit difficult. the room was a bit small for four people with luggage, but it was manageable overall.

We had such a convenient and comfortable stay at Ben'S Guesthouse. The location was not a problem at all, thanks to the efficient transportation in Japan. We explored Nara, Osaka, Himeji, Hiroshima, and Kobe easily using buses and trains. The room was spacious and had all the amenities we needed, including a washing machine and dryer, which was a lifesaver in the hot and humid weather. I highly recommend this guesthouse for a pleasant and homely experience.

The location of the guesthouse is great, close to many sightseeing spots and only a short walk to 3 bus stops that go around the city.
