Biwako offers a beautiful lake view and spacious rooms. the public bath area is clean, and the dining options are fabulous, especially the Italian and Garden buffet restaurants. the shuttle bus to the train station is a convenient perk. the onsen at night is spectacular, and the ferry ride around the lake is a must-do.

Could use another chair. Outdoor bath area visible.

The view from our room at Biwako was absolutely breathtaking. We woke up to stunning views of the lake each morning, which made our stay truly memorable. The room was spacious and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities provided. The hotel's location was convenient, with easy access to Kyoto through the nearby train station. The free shuttle service was a great bonus. We also appreciated the attention to cleanliness and the daily replenishment of toiletries. our experience at Biwako was fantastic and we highly recommend it for a peaceful and enjoyable stay.

We had a fantastic stay at a hotel near the train station. the room was spacious and clean, with a breathtaking view of the lake. the buffet breakfast had a great variety. the Italian and Teppanyaki restaurants served delicious dinners. the highlight was the onsen, offering a spectacular view of the lake at night. the shuttle bus and convenient location made exploring the area easy. A longer stay is recommended to fully enjoy the hotel, town, and nearby attractions. Don't miss the ferry ride and the gift shop!

We loved this place! The location was amazing, right next to the picturesque Biwa lake. The view from our room was stunning, and we enjoyed spending time on the terrace, taking in the beautiful scenery. The staff were very friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. The room was spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed. We especially loved the hot spring bath, perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring.

We highly recommend this place to families looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay.

Great location with beautiful lake views and easy access by train. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with amenities. Loved the hot springs which were incredibly relaxing.

Breakfast buffet was crowded and staff could have been more proactive in managing it. filling out numerous forms with the same information and confusion over what was complimentary was a hassle.
