The location of this place is absolutely fantastic, with Kyoto Station just a short walk away. Convenience stores and restaurants are also nearby, making it very convenient. The ryokan itself is tucked away in a quiet alley, but still feels safe. The owner, Naitou, is incredibly friendly and always ready with helpful suggestions. The traditional Japanese style of the inn, complete with futons, a Japanese bath, and even kimonos, was a wonderful experience. I also enjoyed the cozy corner with plenty of manga and magazines to read. And let's not forget the adorable cat, Lily! Lastly, the affordable price and the complimentary snacks offered each day were the cherry on top. Highly recommended!

This hotel is amazing and just a 5-minute walk from Kyoto Station. The location is perfect for exploring all of Kyoto, with many bus lines ending right at the train station. We had a wonderful stay at Fujiya Ryokan for almost a week! The hosts were lovely and spoke good English, making us feel welcome. The traditional atmosphere of the ryokan allowed us to truly experience Japanese culture. The location was excellent, with the train station and convenient stores nearby. The hot bath at the ryokan was incredible, and the facilities were impeccably clean. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast that had to be pre-ordered. We will definitely recommend this place to our friends!

The service at this ryokan was outstanding! the host was extremely attentive and went out of their way to make our stay memorable. the location was also perfect - right in the heart of downtown and close to the train station. the room was tastefully decorated and had a lovely view overlooking the lane. Plus, we enjoyed the traditional cedar bathrobe and bathing in the cedar bath provided.

The only downside was that the room was not very dark at night, which bothered my partner. Additionally, the walls were thin, so we could hear noises from the other guests next door.
