We had an amazing stay at this hotel! The cleanliness was top-notch, and the hotel facilities were great. The location, just out of the centre of town but very close to the train station, made it easy to explore the area. We loved being near all the shops and surrounded by the beautiful mountains. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, providing us with great recommendations and making us feel welcome.

We had a fantastic stay at a guesthouse in Hakone. The room was incredibly clean and unique, unlike anything we had seen before. The restroom and showers were conveniently located nearby. The common area had a cozy atmosphere with a vintage touch, thanks to the tatami floor. We also appreciated the kitchen facilities and the free coffee/tea available until 22:00. The hostel even had a bar that served food and drinks until late at night. The location was perfect, not far from the bus and train station. The regular manager at the reception desk was friendly and knowledgeable, providing us with helpful tips about the area.

The room was spacious and clean, exceeding our expectations. We were pleasantly surprised to find a double bed instead of bunk beds. the staff was friendly and offered us a complimentary drink upon arrival. the location was very convenient, just a short walk from the train station. We also enjoyed the 50% discount offered at a nearby onsen.

The lack of an elevator or lift made it difficult to carry our heavy luggage up and down the stairs, especially for older guests. It would have been nice to have daily room cleaning, as well as more shelving in the bathroom for our toiletries.

guesthouse azito was a pleasant surprise during my short stay in hakone. unlike my previous visit, this budget-friendly place felt cozy and homey, with a vibrant common area where people gathered. the rooms were modest but clean, and the staff was friendly and informative.

The bed in our capsule was incredibly comfortable, providing us with a restful night's sleep. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met, making our stay truly enjoyable. we highly recommend this hotel for its comfortable accommodations and top-notch service.

Friendly and knowledgeable reception manager, cheap shochu at the bar, kind and welcoming staff, delicious and affordable breakfast, clean and comfortable room, helpful staff who provide good advice on the area.

Not one thing.

The room was surprisingly spacious and had a well-equipped kitchen, which was really handy. the location of the hotel was great as it was just a short walk to the bus stops, making it convenient for exploring the area.

The soundproofing between rooms was not great, which resulted in some noise disturbance. Another downside was that the reception area was too close to the smoking area, which was not ideal.

We had an amazing time at Guesthouse Azito! the staff at this funky and social guesthouse were super friendly and made us feel right at home. the accommodations were surprisingly comfortable, with a large and comfy room and great AC. the location was super convenient, just a short walk from the train station and close to a bus stop. We also loved that it was near Tenzan onsen, which was fantastic. we had the best night's sleep here compared to even some 4-star hotels. Definitely recommended if you're in the area!

We had such a great time at this stylish and convenient guesthouse! the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, even giving us a free drink upon arrival. the beds in our spacious room were large and provided plenty of privacy. the facilities were excellent, with a fridge and basic kitchen available to use. There was also a bar in the reception area where we could purchase food and drinks. the location was perfect, just a short distance from the train station. We were able to easily catch a bus from the station to the guesthouse, thanks to the helpful staff at the bus stops. we highly recommend Guesthouse Azito for anyone visiting the area.
