I recently stayed at Guesthouse in Shirahama for a few nights and I had a fantastic experience. The two ladies running the place were incredibly friendly and always had a smile on their faces. The cleanliness of the house was impressive and it had a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. They even had a washing machine available for guests to use, and they graciously let me hang my clothes there until they were dried. The Japanese-style room I stayed in had a very comfortable futon, and the kitchen was spacious and well-equipped. The owner was super friendly and even offered a free ride to the train station. the location was perfect, just a short walk from the beach and surrounded by great restaurants. They also provided free snacks and the use of everything in the kitchen. I highly recommend this place!

Short walk to beach, bus terminal, and restaurants. Shower outside main building, but manageable in spring. Close to amenities and owner even offered a ride to the train station. Would return for longer stay.

I had a fantastic stay at this guesthouse. The host was incredibly helpful and even gave me a lift to the cliffs. She spoke English very well and we had a lot of laughs together. The location was great, just a short walk to the beach, bus line, and local shops and restaurants. The guesthouse had a comfortable and welcoming feel, with funky decor. The price was excellent and included coffee and tea. the staff, cleanliness, and location were the best aspects of this place.

The bunk beds at Guesthouse Shirahama were incredibly clean and comfortable. I was surprised by how cozy they were, especially during the winter season. The friendly and helpful staff offered thick blankets for extra warmth, which was a nice touch. I really enjoyed the warm and inviting atmosphere in the kitchen and downstairs area, where I had fun and enjoyable times with Takami and her friends. The location of the guesthouse was perfect, allowing me to easily explore the town by bike and visit nearby attractions like the onsen and cliffs. my stay felt like being at home, surrounded by friendly faces and a welcoming atmosphere. I would highly recommend this guesthouse to anyone visiting the area.
