We loved this place! The location is absolutely stunning, nestled in a quiet street up in the hills. It's just off the main street and right on a river, providing a peaceful and serene atmosphere. The service and housekeeping were top-notch, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The shuttle service was very convenient, making it easy for us to explore the surrounding area. The welcome drink upon arrival was a lovely touch, and the room amenities were excellent, including heating, air conditioning, and a cozy sitting area. We also enjoyed the on-site dining restaurant and bar/lounge area, where the staff provided excellent service.

We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay.

Stayed here for Thanksgiving and really enjoyed it overall. the food was amazing, especially the buffet breakfast with a mix of Japanese and Western dishes. the hotel is in a great location, just a short walk from town, and the staff were helpful in explaining things like how dinner and breakfast worked. We also really liked the traditional Japanese robes provided by the hotel.

There were some minor issues. the sink in the bathroom was far away from the toilet bowl, which was a bit inconvenient.

The hotel is conveniently located next to a picturesque river, offering a nice view and a tranquil atmosphere. It is also within walking distance of a subway station and relatively near to Hakone Yumoto station. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with the option of a traditional Japanese-style room or a semi-western room with a private bathtub. The staff provides excellent service and the hotel offers a variety of facilities, including an onsen on the 5th floor. The breakfast buffet provides a wide selection of both Japanese and Western dishes.

Spacious, comfortable rooms. Excellent included dinner with multi-course experience. Clean and well-maintained private and public onsens. Convenient location, 10-15 minute walk from Yumoto station. Outdoor bathroom with river view, pleasant and liberating.

We were amazed by the honesty of the staff at this hotel. We accidentally left our engagement and wedding rings at the public bath, but they asked for proof and promptly returned them to us. Such gratitude!
