I recently stayed at Hotel Asafuji for two nights and it exceeded all my expectations. The location right next to Lake Kawaguchiko provided breathtaking views of Mount Fuji from my room and in front of the Ryokan. The staff at Asafuji were incredibly friendly, attentive, and spoke fluent English. The room size was spacious and the Futon was incredibly comfortable. I also appreciated the free parking lot and the gender-separated onsen provided by the hotel. The breakfast, which came with a Japanese set, was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. I had an amazing experience at Hotel Asafuji and highly recommend it.

We absolutely loved our stay at this small family-run ryokan. The hospitality was incredible, making us feel like we were staying with old friends. The staff went above and beyond, even picking us up from a restaurant when our train was delayed. The room was spacious and offered a beautiful view of Mount Fuji. The newly renovated onsen was clean and provided a breathtaking view of the lake and the mountain. The location was perfect, especially for us as youngsters, as it was within walking distance of the Fuji marathon race field.

During our stay at Asafuji, we experienced amazing service and hospitality. From the moment we made our reservation, the staff reached out to us to confirm and assist with our stay. They were patient and helped us plan our activities in the Fujikawaguchiko area. The free shuttle service from the Fujikawaguchiko station was a great convenience and saved us time after a long journey. The staff welcomed us warmly upon arrival and even provided hot tea and snacks in our room. The Kaiseki dinner was a highlight of our trip, with delicious seasonal flavors showcased in multiple courses. The public onsen bath had a beautiful view of the lake and was a great way to relax. the service, hospitality, and dining experience at Asafuji were top-notch.

One thing that we noticed during our stay was that there was no formal regulation on phones in the onsen. Some guests were using their phones, which took away from the peaceful atmosphere.

the staff went above and beyond to assist us, even though some had limited English. the hotel's facilities were clean and modern, with breathtaking views of Mt. Fuji from the onsen and select rooms. the location was ideal, with a retro bus stop just a minute away and a convenient shuttle service to the train station. the highlight of our stay was the delicious and reasonably priced dinner and breakfast. We loved the ryokan-style room, which provided a relaxing atmosphere without the usual beds and furniture.

The meals were a real highlight, with both breakfast and dinner offering a variety of delicious dishes. the view of the lake was also stunning and we were able to catch sight of Mt. Fuji in the distance - a real treat! the staff were friendly and accommodating, which made us feel right at home.

The futon mattresses provided were a little hard, which made it difficult to get comfortable at times. the view of Mt. Fuji isn't visible from every room, so it's important to ask for a certain location if that's something that's important to you.

We were mesmerized by the views of Mt. Fuji! The traditional rooms and serene spa were pure luxury. The helpful staff made our stay even more enjoyable. And we were lucky enough to witness a breathtaking clear appearance of Mt. Fuji on the day we left. Worthy stay and we will definitely come back.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, making me feel truly welcomed. They even spoke English, which made communication much easier. The room I was assigned had a spectacular view of a famous mountain, and I was able to capture some incredible photos during sunrise. The hotel's hot spring on the 4th floor was well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. I particularly enjoyed staying in a traditional Japanese room, with its tatami mat and traditional tea set. The hotel's location just outside was convenient for exploring the area, as I could easily walk to nearby restaurants and cafes. The hotel also provided a shuttle service and there was a bus stop nearby that allowed easy access to other parts of this city. Lastly, the breakfast served at the hotel was exceptional, with a variety of delicious traditional dishes.
