Hotel Asafuji, Fujikawaguchiko (Japan) - Deals & Reviews

I recently stayed at Hotel Asafuji for two nights and it exceeded all my expectations. The location right next to Lake Kawaguchiko provided breathtaking views of Mount Fuji from my room and in front of the Ryokan. The staff at Asafuji were incredibly friendly, attentive, and spoke fluent English. The room size was spacious and the Futon was incredibly comfortable. I also appreciated the free parking lot and the gender-separated onsen provided by the hotel. The breakfast, which came with a Japanese set, was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. I had an amazing experience at Hotel Asafuji and highly recommend it.

We absolutely loved our stay at this small family-run ryokan. The hospitality was incredible, making us feel like we were staying with old friends. The staff went above and beyond, even picking us up from a restaurant when our train was delayed. The room was spacious and offered a beautiful view of Mount Fuji. The newly renovated onsen was clean and provided a breathtaking view of the lake and the mountain. The location was perfect, especially for us as youngsters, as it was within walking distance of the Fuji marathon race field.

During our stay at Asafuji, we experienced amazing service and hospitality. From the moment we made our reservation, the staff reached out to us to confirm and assist with our stay. They were patient and helped us plan our activities in the Fujikawaguchiko area. The free shuttle service from the Fujikawaguchiko station was a great convenience and saved us time after a long journey. The staff welcomed us warmly upon arrival and even provided hot tea and snacks in our room. The Kaiseki dinner was a highlight of our trip, with delicious seasonal flavors showcased in multiple courses. The public onsen bath had a beautiful view of the lake and was a great way to relax. the service, hospitality, and dining experience at Asafuji were top-notch.

One thing that we noticed during our stay was that there was no formal regulation on phones in the onsen. Some guests were using their phones, which took away from the peaceful atmosphere.
