The hotel's location was great. It was conveniently situated near the Goryokaku tower and had easy access to public transportation. Our room was clean and had a great view of the cherry blossom trees outside. Additionally, there were plenty of dining options nearby, making it easy for us to try out the local cuisine.

Our room was in the smoking section and that the smell permeated throughout our stay despite our efforts to air out the room. We also found it inconvenient that we had to return the key to the front desk every time we left the building, which made us feel like we were being monitored rather than trusted.

This hotel offers excellent value for money with its affordable prices and attention to detail. The location is ideal, as it is close to the Goryokaku castle park and has a department store opposite. The rooms are well-maintained and provide a view of the mountainous terrain of the Hakodate area. Additionally, the staff members are friendly and provide good service.

No improvements needed, everything was satisfactory.
