This beachfront hotel offers stunning views of the ocean and allows easy access to the beach. The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly and accommodating. The breakfast and dinner served at the hotel are delicious, with a variety of options to choose from. Guests can also enjoy stargazing on the hotel's rooftop. The nearby town is just a short walk away, offering even more dining options.

The shower water temperature control can be a bit difficult to manage.

Great hospitality and delicious food. the location was perfect for enjoying the beautiful beach and sea life. the staff was friendly and helpful in navigating the nearby town. the room had all necessities and the breakfast was superb. the location offers plenty of opportunities to view the stars and Milky Way, especially from the roof hammocks.

The isolated location is not ideal for guests looking for more nightlife or shopping options. the area may also become a problem during inclement weather, like typhoons.

My stay at Hotel Hoshitate in Iriomote Island was absolutely magical. The secluded location provided a peaceful and serene atmosphere, and the beautiful beach view from my room was breathtaking. The hospitality of the staff was outstanding, making me feel welcome and cared for throughout my stay. The meals served at the hotel were delicious and satisfying, and the nearby restaurant, Katagiri, offered amazing local dishes. I also enjoyed the opportunity to stargaze from the hotel's rooftop, witnessing the most incredible display of stars, including the Milky Way. The beachfront was a perfect spot to relax, and I spotted plenty of fascinating sea life. Although it was a bit isolated, it only added to the charm and uniqueness of the island. The only downside was having to say goodbye when it was time to leave. I highly recommend Hotel Hoshitate for a truly enchanting experience in Iriomote Island.
