our recent stay in yamanouchi was truly outstanding. the hotel provided exceptional service, from a pick-up service at the station to a warm welcome from the staff. the private onsen and comfortable rooms exceeded our expectations. we will definitely return to this amazing place.

Cleanliness in some public areas.

The room at Housei was spacious and beautifully decorated in traditional Japanese style. the hot spring inside the room was a delightful feature, and the room itself was warm, bright, and offered a lovely view of a small bamboo garden. the hotel provided delicious breakfast and dinner in a traditional style, with a wide variety of dishes to enjoy. We especially appreciated the convenience of the vending machine with cold drinks after indulging in the hot spring. the staff was friendly and accommodating, even offering a discount on our supper menu. As a special touch, they gave us a small bottle of Japanese wine to celebrate our honeymoon. it was a fantastic Japanese experience.

Our stay at Hotel Housei was exceptional. The rooms are spacious, much bigger than usual hotel rooms in Japan. The cleanliness of the rooms was excellent. The hotel staff take care of breakfast very well. They also provide a free shuttle to the monkey park and even offer shuttle service to sora terrace for larger groups. The service provided was beyond expectations. I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the monkey park and its surroundings.

They even offered a free ride to the train station and the monkey park. the private onsen in the room was absolutely incredible, and there was also a lovely outdoor onsen that was open all night. the location of the hotel was great, within walking distance of Yudanaka station and convenient for catching the shuttle to Ryuoo ski resort. the room itself was comfortable, with central heating. the buffet breakfast and dinner were fantastic, offering a delicious mix of Japanese and Western options. it was the best hotel I've stayed in for such an affordable price.

The public areas of the hotel had a strange smell, so we opted to eat elsewhere and didn't use the public Onsen.
