The hotel is ideally located in the lively Dotonbori district, close to the train station. It is also within walking distance of famous attractions like Dotombori and Shinsaibashi suji. Guests can enjoy an early direct express train to Kansai Airport from Namba station, which is just a 10-minute walk away. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, offering a comfortable tatami to sleep on, good wifi, and a safe. The hotel also has a simple public bath for guests to relax in after a long day exploring the city.

The lobby of the hotel had a slight smell of cigarette smoke.

This hotel is great value for money, especially considering its location in the lively district near the center of Dotonbori. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. I loved the fact that they had a lovely public bath, adding to the authentic experience. Plus, having breakfast included was a nice bonus.

No improvement needed, everything was fine.

We had an amazing experience at a traditional Japanese ryokan in Osaka. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and even lent us umbrellas when it rained. The public bath was a highlight and provided a truly authentic Japanese experience. I highly recommend this hotel.

Traditional Japanese rooms and fantastic breakfast! The hotel offered traditional rooms with tatami floors and futons, which gave us a true taste of Japan. The breakfast was amazing! We had a variety of Japanese breakfast items for a small additional fee. The location was great with easy access to the Namba/Dotonbori area for dinner and drinks, and the hotel was only a 10-minute walk from the train station.

The hotel seemed a little old and dark when we arrived, and nobody was at the reception to greet us, though later a staff member did serve us. The hotel didn't seem to have a lively atmosphere like a normal hotel.
