The staff are incredibly polite and provide great service. The view of Mt. Fuji and the lake from the room is stunning. The free shuttle bus service from and to Kawaguchiko station is convenient. The dinner options, especially the Fujisan Zen and Beef sukiyaki, are delicious.

We stayed at Hotel New Century for 3 nights during our trip to explore Mount Fuji. The staff was incredibly helpful and pleasant, and there were English-speaking staff members available. The shuttle service to and from the train station was prompt and courteous when we made arrangements. We were delighted to wake up to the stunning view of Mount Fuji directly from our room for two mornings. The hotel is conveniently located in front of a picturesque Sakura tree along the lake, making it perfect for taking memorable photos. The onsen facilities on the top floor of the hotel offered a relaxing experience with a view of Mount Fuji. The delicious breakfast and dinner were not only flavorful but also beautifully presented.

During my stay at Hotel New Century, I was fortunate enough to experience two consecutive sunny days which provided a breathtaking view of Mount Fuji right from my room's balcony. The complimentary shuttle service to and from Kawaguchiko station made transportation convenient. Despite the language barrier, the staff at the meals room went above and beyond to serve us and even learned a bit of our dialect. The meals, both dinner and breakfast, were enjoyable and the onsen and hotel facilities added to the overall great experience. The location of the hotel on the eastern end of the northern shores of Lake Kawaguchiko offered a peaceful and beautiful setting. I highly recommend trying the local noodles for lunch, known as "Houtou" or "Hoto".

The cleanliness of the hotel was subpar, with previous guests' hair found in the bath and a lingering smell of urine in the toilet.

Amazing views of Mt. Fuji from the room and onsen bath. the shuttle service to the city area was very helpful. the staff was friendly and accommodating, offering a wheelchair for an elderly family member and preparing vegetarian meals upon request.

Limited food options in the surrounding area and no convenience store nearby. the toilet in the room was very small.

New Century has a fabulous view of Mt Fuji from the balcony. I stayed for 2 nights in a Japanese room with a balcony overlooking the lake and Fuji-San. the hotel staff were kind and helpful, and one of the front staff spoke excellent English. the Onsen was a fun new experience. the location was perfect, with clean and spacious traditional tatami rooms. the breakfast and dinner spread were superb. the staff were attentive and eager to help. Complimentary shuttle service to and from Kawaguchiko station was convenient. the hotel was worth every yen spent.

the hotel was clean, well situated, and the staff provided excellent service. From the moment we checked in, they were attentive to our needs and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. the check-in staff even took note of our laundry service enquiry and directed us to the nearest coin laundry. They were also prompt in responding to our dinner requests. the entire team was helpful and enthusiastic, from assisting with our luggage to providing parking arrangements. the reception staff suggested places to visit and even gave us discounted tickets and vouchers for sightseeing. the restaurant staff were attentive to our needs and dedicated in explaining how each dish was to be consumed. They made sure we had different side dishes daily for our three reserved dinners. We also appreciated the staff at the onsen who taught me how to wear and tie my yukata. Throughout our stay, we were greeted by all staff members wherever we went. We highly recommend it!
