I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, as it was conveniently connected by bus routes 100 and 206, making it easy to visit most of the temples and shrines in the area. The hotel's serene ambiance was exactly what I was looking for. The bathroom design was modern and Zen-like, a refreshing change from the older facilities found in many Japanese hotels. The staff provided excellent service and were always polite and friendly. I particularly appreciated the thoughtful touches and the high quality toiletries provided.

This place is conveniently located in the Higashiyama-Ku area, making it easy to explore many of Kyoto's best attractions. I loved that it was just across the street from the National Museum, perfect for art enthusiasts like me. The staff here provided excellent service, managing to secure two places on a tasting event for us on the day we wanted. They were also very helpful in translating and pushing the wheelchair that was provided by the hotel. The spa and wellness center was a great place to relax and unwind, with a sauna, steam room, and various massage treatments. The garden area added a peaceful ambiance to the overall experience.

Rooms are comfortable with spacious bathrooms, including large showers and baths with excellent water pressure. The hotel offers a free geisha performance and the staff is friendly and helpful. Options for breakfast and plenty of toiletries provided.

The hotel was also clean and had great facilities. We were able to easily explore Kyoto as the hotel was within walking distance to several temples and had good transportation options.
