I recently had the pleasure of staying at a beautiful and authentic traditional Japanese house called Inase Otsu Machiya . From the moment we arrived, the staff, who spoke excellent English, were incredibly helpful and attentive. They even upgraded us to their best room because we were the only guests at the time. the room itself was stunning, with a garden view and a charming porch where we could sit and admire the peaceful atmosphere. the facilities were modern and comfortable, with excellent heating, and the private bathroom was a welcome bonus. In the morning, we were treated to a delicious Japanese breakfast, complete with free refills of rice and miso soup. the location was also convenient, just a short walk from the train station and the nearby Miidera temple complex. I can't recommend this place enough, and I would definitely love to stay here again. It was truly a memorable experience.
