We had the most incredible stay at a charming property perfectly located for exploring the beauty of Miyajima. The peaceful surroundings and short walk through the forested pathway to the Miyajima Ropeway made it even more special. Our room in the annex building had stunning views and was impeccably clean. The traditional tatami room with an attached bathroom was a unique and authentic experience. The food was absolutely delicious, with beautifully presented traditional Japanese flavors. The onsen was a true highlight, offering a wonderful experience and the chance to relax in the indoor and outdoor baths. The service throughout our stay was gracious and top-notch, with the staff going above and beyond to accommodate our needs. it was a wonderful, authentic Japanese experience that we highly recommend.

We were promptly picked up from the ferry terminal and our baggage was taken care of. The Ryokan provided a traditional experience with Yukata and delicious Japanese cuisine. The location was perfect, close to the water front and Itsukushima Shrine. The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating, even catering to dietary restrictions. The rooms were spacious and well-maintained, with a beautiful view of the Torii. The onsen was relaxing and the greenery outside added to the overall ambiance. Families with children will find this a great place to stay.

I got incredible value for my money at Iwaso. The room was spacious and tastefully decorated, with a lovely seating area by the window. The location was perfect, just behind Itsukushima Shrine and close to the ropeway to Mt. Misen. The staff gave me a warm welcome and provided exceptional service throughout my stay.

The breakfast experience could have been better if they had more variety and didn't run out of food when arriving later.

An Unforgettable Onsen Experience

During our stay at a ryokan in Miyajima, we were treated to an incredible onsen experience. The two beautiful onsen baths, one wooden and one rock, provided a perfect setting for relaxation. We particularly loved the outside onsen, set above a babbling brook with a picturesque pine forest backdrop. As we soaked in the warm waters, we were enchanted by the sight of native deer roaming freely nearby. The tranquility of the early morning and late night visits, with rising steam and mist, made the experience even more magical. The onsen alone was worth the visit.

Expensive but worth it for dinner, breakfast, and experience. Recommend to those who enjoy ryokans and nature.

The hotel had a beautiful setting, with rooms that were clean and well-maintained. the food served was exquisite, and I especially enjoyed the kaiseki dinner. the location was perfect, close to the town and local shrines, and it was convenient to take the cable car up the nearby mountain for stunning views. Additionally, the staff were friendly and helpful, providing excellent service throughout my stay.

There were a few drawbacks to my experience. the water in the bath was extremely hot, making it difficult to stay in for more than a few minutes at a time.
