I recently stayed at Jr Inn in Hakodate for a few nights. The location was fantastic, right next to the train station and within walking distance of the Hakodate Market and various restaurants. The hotel was very clean and had everything we needed. The highlight was the amazing public bath, including an open-air public bath, which was perfect for relaxing, especially when it's cold outside. The staff were also very helpful and friendly throughout our stay.

We recently stayed at a hotel in Hakodate and had a great experience. Jr Inn, right next to the train station, was the perfect choice for our family of 3. the room was spacious with three large beds and a comfortable desk. the bathroom was nice and the hotel itself had great amenities like an onsite bath and washing machines. the location was convenient, with the morning fish market just across the road and restaurants and attractions within walking distance.

It was so convenient, especially when it was raining, as we could just walk in after checking out from the station. the location was great, with many shops around, including the famous morning market. the view from our room was excellent, facing east and overlooking the sea, mountains, and the bustling activities of the morning market. the hotel was very clean, and I loved the separate toilet and shower. the amenities were customizable, and we even had the option to skip daily cleaning in exchange for fresh towels and other perks. the lounge on the 12th storey was a highlight, offering a beautiful scenery and free coffee. it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay at Jr Inn Hakodate.

One small inconvenience is the lack of a place to hang bath towels in the rooms.

The room was not thoroughly cleaned before our arrival and we found a toothpick on the floor. it would have been nice to have food options within the hotel itself.

The location of Jr Inn couldn't be better, just a 2-second walk from the station's north exit. The staff were friendly and could speak some English, which made communication easy. The room had a great view and was clean and comfortable. I also loved the convenience of being near many restaurants and the ropeway station. The pillow selection was a nice touch too.

One drawback was that the onsen could get a bit crowded in the evening, especially with children who could be noisy. I wasn't sure if the hotel allowed children in the onsen or if the guests were violating the rules.
