The staff spoke excellent English, comfortable futons, helpful and friendly staff, convenient location close to main train station, clean and nice communal areas, reasonable prices for breakfast.

Despite some drawbacks, there were a few positive aspects during my weekend stay. the room was clean and well maintained, which was definitely a plus. Secondly, the location was convenient and easily accessible to major attractions, making it easier to explore the city. Lastly, I enjoyed the presence of a common area where I could relax and have a cup of tea or watch TV.

There were a couple of things that I didn't particularly like. the mattresses on the floor were not very thick, which caused some discomfort and resulted in back pain after a few days.

Easy to find. Hot bath is lovely. Nice breakfast at the cafe. Room is clean and beautiful. Lift available, but stairs to reach it. Each level has a fridge, shared toilet, and shower. Amenities provided. Water dispenser and microwave in shared area. Many restaurants and supermarkets nearby.

I stayed at Kimi Ryokan for two nights on my search for an apartment in Tokyo. The owner, Minato-san, was kind and spoke excellent English, making me feel welcome. The staff, from the cleaning ladies to the owner, were friendly and helpful. The facilities were clean, with the cleaning ladies doing a great job. The location is convenient, close to a metro station. Staying here was affordable and provided a traditional Japanese ryokan experience. Ps. Adapters for Europeans are available!
