Located right in the heart of the historic district, this hotel is a perfect base for exploring. The twin room I stayed in was small, but it had everything I needed. The communal areas are converted from a factory, giving them a unique and pleasant atmosphere. The staff were extremely helpful and provided excellent service. Additionally, the nearby art and craft shops offer a variety of workshops and classes to enjoy.

The beds in Japan tend to be very firm, which may not be comfortable for everyone.

Ivy Square provided a beautifully restored complex in a historic part of town. The setting was truly nice for an evening stroll. The bathhouse was a great addition and the service was helpful and efficient. The attention to detail, like providing an English-language newspaper in the morning, was much appreciated. I highly recommend this hotel.

The converted factory building had a charming exterior with ivy covering the walls. The location was perfect for exploring the historic bikan quarter, with lots of small shops and museums nearby. The communal bath was a relaxing experience after a day of sightseeing.

The room was small and a little bit worn out. There was no elevator in the building, which could be problematic for some guests.

Lovely courtyard where you can relax and enjoy a coffee. Plenty of art and craft shops in the vicinity, offering workshops such as ceramics and paper crafts.

Small standard twin bed rooms, with limited space for two people and their luggage. No closet for hanging clothes, only a wall rack.
