A great stay at Hot Spring Hatoya Zuihokaku! I enjoyed a cozy double room with a lovely Japanese ambiance, overlooking a bustling pedestrian street for some enjoyable people-watching. the onsen, including an outdoor section, was fantastic. the staff was friendly and accommodating, and the hotel's proximity to the station made it very convenient. the decor was tasteful and added to the overall pleasant experience.

Wish for closer proximity to Gion.

We absolutely loved our stay at this luxurious hotel. The location is unbeatable, right by the main train station. It made it so convenient for us to explore the city and easily access public transportation. The staff provided exceptional service and spoke fluent English, ensuring that all our needs were met with a smile. The room itself was beautifully maintained, with comfortable bedding and all the necessary amenities. We especially enjoyed the hot spring bath, which was a perfect way to unwind after a long day of sightseeing. this place exceeded our expectations in terms of comfort, convenience, and quality service.

The hotel is located very close to the main train station, making it extremely convenient for travelers. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated, with attention to detail. The staff is friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to meet the needs of guests. The hot spring and Japanese breakfast provided a fantastic cultural experience, adding to the overall enjoyment of the stay.

The view from some of the twin rooms on the 4th and 5th floors may not be very appealing, as they face an adjacent office building.

Recently renovated hotel with modern amenities. In-room hot spring bath was great and fed from the same underground natural spring that feeds the on-site onsen. Good location, only a short walk from the JR rail station and close to shopping areas.

The staff speaks very limited English and communication was difficult at times. Some appliances in the room were in Japanese with no English translation sheet, making usage confusing.
