Our stay at the Kyoto Kamanza Hotel was absolutely marvelous. The location was perfect, surrounded by charming restaurants and bakeries. The room was impeccably clean and spacious, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The bathroom was stocked with an impressive array of toiletries. The staff, especially Sam and Onda, were exceptional, always going above and beyond to assist us. The breakfast, although limited in choices, was delicious and fresh. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend this hotel for a delightful stay in Kyoto.

The breakfast at the nearby coffee shop was tasty and offered a good selection. Fast internet and helpful staff were also positive aspects of the stay. Location was great for exploring nearby restaurants.

The room was much smaller than expected and though the bathroom was clean, it was outdated. The hotel was located in a residential area, making it difficult to get to the main tourist attractions.

It is situated down the same street towards the castle, making it easy to explore the historical sites. Additionally, it is very close to Nishiki market, allowing guests to experience the local cuisine and culture. The Karasuma Oike subway station is also nearby, providing easy access to other parts of the city.

The reception is unattended, which may be inconvenient for guests seeking immediate assistance or information.

The hotel was within walking distance of many shrines, castles, and other tourist attractions, and the central subway station was just a short walk away.
