Traveling from Tokyo to Kyoto on the bullet train, we stayed at this hotel for two nights. Despite the slightly higher price, it was worth it. The free shuttle bus provided convenient transportation to and from the train station. The twin bed room was spacious and comfortable, with extra pillows. The bathroom was well-stocked with essentials. The helpful staff provided everything we needed, including umbrellas and an iron board. The location was close to a large shrine and shopping areas, making it easy to explore on foot. The hotel's exterior had a luxurious appearance.

Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

This hotel is conveniently located in a traditional area of Kyoto, where we could easily walk or take a taxi to sites or public transit. The room was spacious for Japan size and the staff provided excellent service, even organizing our Shinkansen ticket and calling our destination hotel. The breakfast was varied and enjoyable, and the attention to detail in the room was excellent.

The only minor issue was the lack of milk for tea in the room, as cream or powdered milk isn't the same.

Convenient hotel shuttle, helpful reception mailbox for postcards. Excellent breakfast buffet with Japanese and western food options. Well-appointed, attractive interiors and pleasant exterior. Smooth check-in and check-out.

The hotel offered a great breakfast with a variety of options, and the staff was really polite. We appreciated the free shuttle bus to the train station, which was very reliable and helpful for exploring the area. the Japanese garden view from the lobby was stunning and added an extra element to the hotel experience.

The rooms were quite small and not what we were used to, but they were clean and served their purpose. the hotel's location was not the most inspiring, but it was convenient for the train station and had plenty of nearby amenities.

I had a wonderful stay at Kyoto Tokyu Hotel. The mix of modernity and traditional Japanese charm was truly captivating. The inner garden with its bamboo and flowing water was so peaceful. The rooms were comfortable and clean, blending Japanese decor with modern amenities. The location near NishiHongwanji was convenient, with easy access to buses and a shuttle to Kyoto station. The reception and concierge were incredibly helpful in guiding me through my Kyoto adventures. I highly recommend this hotel for a delightful Kyoto experience.

This hotel is a luxurious venue with exclusive amenities that fulfilled all our needs. the service was impeccable, and the staff was always ready to assist with whatever we needed. the swimming pool and Jacuzzi area was splendid, and the massage services were exceptional. the garden area was a lovely place to relax and enjoy the atmosphere while sipping on drinks from the bar. the restaurant served delicious food with a broad range of options, and the in-room breakfast was a delightful way to start the day.

The only minor issue was the location, which was a bit far from the city center, making it necessary to take a shuttle or taxi to get to the attractions. this may also be considered a positive aspect as it provided a peaceful atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of the city center.

the rooms were incredibly comfortable and spacious, with Simmons beds that provided a great night's sleep. the hotel also had convenient facilities, including a "Handy" Smartphone for unlimited calls and internet, as well as USB charging ports near the bed. the staff service was excellent, with friendly and helpful staff members. I particularly enjoyed the welcome drinks in the tea lounge and the delicious snacks in the Premium Lounge. the hotel also offered a shuttle bus service to various locations, making it easy to explore the city. I highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable stay in Kyoto.
