We had an amazing stay at a traditional ryokan in Kyoto. The room was beautifully decorated with tatami mats and floor beds, and we loved the traditional amenities like kimonos and pajamas. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind, and the location was perfect for exploring the city. It was just a short walk from a temple and the central train station. one of the best stays in Japan.

This hotel is conveniently located in a very central area, just a short walk from the train station. The rooms are in the traditional style with comfy beds and even have outside balconies. The breakfast included is delicious with a good coffee or tea in the nearby cafe and a wonderful Japanese option.

I also appreciated the fact that they provided complimentary tea and a traditional Japanese costume set for both indoor and outdoor use. the location was also a big plus, being close to the train station and other city attractions.

The hotel did not provide water for the complimentary tea, and when we asked for it, we were told we had to pay for it. This seemed odd to me, as I couldn't enjoy the tea without water.
