Best Christmas experience ever! The hosts were so friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. The spacious room with traditional Japanese tatami mats and sliding doors gave us a true cultural experience. We loved the delicious dinner with a wide variety of dishes, and they even accommodated my dietary restrictions. The onsen were a highlight, with both public and private options available. We enjoyed relaxing in the private onsen, which were open 24/7, so we could soak in the hot springs at our leisure. And the best part? The stunning views of the surrounding gardens and the nearby scenic location, making it the perfect getaway.

Although our overall experience was fantastic, there were a few minor setbacks. The staff's lack of punctuality during meal times was slightly inconvenient, as they came earlier than expected for dinner and breakfast.

My stay at this ryokan was absolutely exceptional. I forgot my laptop when we checked out, and to my surprise, they contacted me and arranged for the owner's mom to personally bring it to me at the nearby station. Their hospitality went above and beyond my expectations. The private indoor and outdoor onsen were clean and peaceful, providing a relaxing experience. The food they served was fresh and delicious, and they even upgraded our room to accommodate our noisy children. The host took the time to plan our sightseeing itinerary and gave us helpful advice on using the local bus system. I would definitely choose to stay here again if I ever visit the area.

The pillows provided were also not very comfortable and felt quite lumpy. the walls of the hotel seemed to be thin, as noise from neighboring rooms and the corridor could be heard easily, making it difficult to sleep in.
