The hotel is located in the center of everything, close to the main shopping area and the gorgeous Gion area. It is just a short walk to major sightseeing spots like Yasaka Shrine and Chion-in. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and the communication in English is excellent. The hotel rates are very reasonable and the rooms are clean and comfortable.

I recently stayed at Mitsui Garden Hotel in Kyoto for a few nights. This hotel is perfectly located for exploring the city. It's within walking distance or a short bus ride from all the attractions we wanted to visit, including Kiyomizu dera. The room was beautifully decorated in modern Japanese style and the beds were super comfortable. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the price was reasonable. We will definitely be returning.
