I appreciated the little gift shop in the hotel for last-minute souvenir purchases.

The hotel can get quite busy, and as a result, the staff may not be as attentive as in other places.

We stayed at the Hedistar Hotel and had a great experience. the location was perfect, just a 10-minute walk from the train station, offering a lovely city view. We found a variety of good restaurants and bars nearby, including a Western-style restaurant and a traditional Kyoto-style one. There was also a big supermarket where we could buy everything we needed, and even have some meals. the staff at the hotel were incredibly polite and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. it was a well-organized and pleasant experience.
