Private onsen made my stay exceptionally relaxing.

Every meal was a delightful surprise! The exceptional six-course dinner showcased the region's flavors beautifully. The staff's attentiveness during dinner was also a standout, making it feel special.

The location can feel a bit isolated, making exploring Hakone a challenge without a direct plan. Also, some outdoor seating areas had remnants of rain, which impacted their cleanliness.

Comfortable room with lovely onsite onsen experience.

the experience here was so disappointing. the staff was less than helpful when we inquired about local walks, and our room was dull, devoid of any view. to top it all off, a welcome gift or some acknowledgment of my presence would’ve been nice, but I guess that’s too much to ask. absoluteley not worth the hype.

Utilize the on-site electric bike rental for easy exploration of the scenic surroundings, and don’t hesitate to inquire about meal options—everything is delightful!

The cafe and restaurant were delightful highlights, with incredible meals that my mother and I thoroughly enjoyed. The serene atmosphere surrounded by nature made this stay memorable, though we encountered quite a few insects.

Chur, the onsen was sweet as, but staff were a bit unhelpful and the place felt quite dated. Overall, had a good time, but could be heaps better.

Why didn't I try this sooner?

What a fantastic experience! Surrounded by trees, our room offered stunning views and a cozy ambience. The breakfast was delightful, offering both Western and Japanese options. The onsen was a treat, especially being open all night. Plus, the electric bike rental made exploring such a joy! Can’t wait to return!

The access from the bus stop was tricky with luggage. better communication about transport assistance would help. Also, some cleaning could enhance outdoor areas.

Loved the relaxing vibe and stunning nature around! The onsen worked wonders on my back pain, and the comfy room was great, too. Those meal-boxes the staff prepared for me late at night were such a treat!

But honestly, I’m not sure if I was there to relax or to practice my detective skills looking for lost things. And dragging dumpsters at midnight? Not quite the lullaby I had in mind!

Clean and spacious room. with a lovely large window for enjoying the forest view. The staff were super friendly, greeting us with coffee during check-in! Breakfast had a nice mix of Western and Japanese styles.
