I absolutely loved my stay at Nikko Tokanso. The highlight of my visit was definitely the incredible onsen experience. After a long day exploring the beautiful shrines and nature in Nikko, soaking in the relaxing onsen was pure bliss. It helped me unwind and rejuvenate my tired muscles.

In terms of drawbacks, there were a few minor issues. The common bathroom wasn't the nicest, but it didn't affect my overall stay.

Kind staff, welcoming atmosphere, convenient luggage storage, traditional Japanese room, gentle maid, enjoyable Onsen experience.

Would definitely stay here again. The hotel provided amenities like hot water, heating in various areas, and even Japanese robes. The staff's attention and kindness were superb. They provided a traditional Japanese experience, including transforming the dining room into a sleeping room. The traditional Japanese breakfast was excellent. They also had a unique touch by writing our names on a cardboard sign to welcome us. The hotel had a policy of leaving shoes at the entrance and providing sandals inside, which added to the authenticity. Additionally, they accommodated us by providing everything we needed to enjoy our sake. an excellent hotel experience.

The traditional dinner and breakfast were delicious, although some dishes were unfamiliar to me. The staff were friendly and helpful, making my experience even more enjoyable.
