The staff were friendly and accommodating, offering to store our luggage and lending us umbrellas when it was raining. the location was also ideal for us as it was close to many attractions and restaurants.

The price was a bit steep, especially considering breakfast was not included in the room rate. the location was a bit of a hike from the nearest train station, which was a bit of a hassle when we first arrived with our luggage.

This hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of the Beppu hell's area, with major attractions like Umi Jigoku, Oniishibozu, and Oniyama just a short walk away. It's also conveniently located near the bus stops, making it easy to explore other scenic areas. The rooms are spacious and offer beautiful views of the mountains. The staff is friendly and helpful, providing excellent service. the rooftop and ground onsen baths provide a relaxing and rejuvenating experience.

One staff member seemed a bit unfriendly, but this was overshadowed by the excellent service provided by the rest of the staff.
