Pros We experienced a hiccup with the bed arrangement, initially assigned bunk beds for 4, but after a polite complaint, we were relocated to a room with spacious twin beds. the new room lacked a proper seating area, but the size improvement was noticeable. However, dusting was required in the room. Laundry facilities were limited, leading to queues, and room cleaning could have been more thorough. Despite these minor setbacks, our stay at Ori Rokkaku was pleasant, with convenient access to local amenities and a comfortable environment. Overall I recommend this hotel.

Located on a quaint street, Ori Rokkaku Kyoto is a short distance from the city center and Nijo-jo Castle. The rooms, though small, are cozy and comfortable. With a convenient elevator and the option to store luggage after check-out, the hotel ensures a hassle-free experience. The staff is prompt in assisting guests in need, even though the front desk may be unattended. The Japanese-style bathroom provides a relaxing experience, while the amenities are of good quality, guaranteeing a comfortable stay.

One minor drawback is the lack of flexibility in adjusting the TV position, making it hard to watch from the bed.

The hotel was situated in a great spot with convenient access to shops and public transportation. the room was spacious and the staff was friendly and helpful. They even went out of their way to assist us with baggage delivery. the bathroom was updated and impeccably clean.

The room was incredibly dusty and the air conditioning unit in the bathroom was incredibly loud and caused items to vibrate on any setting other than the lowest. the TV was not easily adjustable and subtitles were difficult to navigate.

Secondly, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, going out of their way to assist us with anything we needed. Thirdly, the rooms were surprisingly spacious and well-equipped, with a kitchen that made our stay even more convenient. Additionally, the value for money was excellent, with affordable prices and basic amenities provided. We also appreciated the option to have breakfast at the hotel. we had a great experience at this hotel.
