Our stay at Oyado Kiyomizuya was a delight. The ryokan had an authentic charm and was conveniently located near Hell Valley and the town shops. The staff, though old, were incredibly helpful and recommended some amazing restaurants. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the onsen, while small, was adequate. I highly recommend this hotel for a charming and authentic experience.

Despite this, the location of the hotel was fantastic. It was a short walk to the bustling shopping street, where we enjoyed exploring local shops and indulging in delicious street food. Additionally, the hotel was conveniently situated near the famous Hell Valley, allowing us to easily visit and marvel at the unique volcanic landscape. the location provided a great starting point for exploring the city's attractions.

The Wi-Fi in the room was quite slow and often didn't work properly, which was frustrating for staying connected and searching for information.

The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, despite language barriers. The Japanese-style room was spacious and the futon bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel had a soothing interior and the onsen with an outdoor pool was amazing. The location was conveniently close to everything in the village.

The food was amazing, and I cannot stop thinking about it. Breakfast and dinner were delicious and presented meticulously. the staff was very friendly, always ready to help, and provided us with great recommendations on places to visit nearby. the hotel was well-located, and we had easy access to public transportation.

The bath area was not well-maintained, and there were hairs in the drains. Our room's air conditioning did not work properly, which made it impossible to sleep comfortably during the night.

Clean onsen, often empty. Traditional family room for three adults. Comfortable sleep on futons. Delicious, varied breakfast in-room. Convenient location near town and restaurants.

This hotel is conveniently located close to all the attractions and walking trails. It's just a short walk to the terminal at Noboribetsu Onsen where they would pick us up, and it's also down the road to Onsen Street bus station. The staff provided excellent service, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable, with twin beds in the traditional Japanese style. The breakfast served in the room was delicious and presented beautifully in Kaiseki style.
