We felt at home with traditional tatami mat rooms, lovely hot springs baths, and a fabulous Kai-seki dinner. The staff were attentive and the Japanese breakfast was special. The location provided great views and scenery, perfect for a quiet retreat in the mountains.

I had the most relaxing stay at this mountain retreat. The Ryokan nestled among the trees provided a calming atmosphere that was perfect after a day of hiking. The onsen, both communal and private, were a highlight, offering stunning views and pure relaxation. The traditional Japanese meals served in our private dining area were beautifully prepared and showcased local flavors. The staff were excellent in their service and the shuttle service was a convenient bonus. I highly recommend this gem in the mountains for a truly rejuvenating experience.

This hideaway is the perfect retreat location for those looking for a relaxing escape in nature. The 7-course meals served here were exceptional, and we were able to choose our own yukata to wear during our weekend stay. We also loved the wood heaters dotted around the property, perfect for keeping us cozy and comfortable during those chilly nights.

While the free shuttle bus was convenient for shorter stays, renting a car would be ideal for longer stays. the onsen wood appeared to be in need of some upkeep.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a hotel nestled in a very quiet area in the mountains. The location was absolutely beautiful, with a wonderful view over the mountains from my room's balcony. It was the perfect retreat for a peaceful getaway. The staff at this hotel were exceptional, providing attentive and friendly service throughout my stay. They went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable, and their attention to detail was truly impressive. The basic amenities in the rooms were well-maintained and I especially appreciated the complimentary tea and coffee. Regarding breakfast, I was delighted by the variety and abundance of the spread. Each morning, I was treated to a delightful selection of dishes that showcased the flavors of the region. It was a great way to start the day and truly added to the overall experience of my stay.

All aspects of my stay were more than satisfactory.
