As foreign tourists, we loved the convenient location and helpful staff. The area guide provided us with great recommendations for restaurants, making it easy to explore the local cuisine. The hostel's proximity to the train and bus stations made it an ideal base for visiting nearby locations from popular anime like Hyouka and Kimi no Na wa. The option of a private room with a bathroom was a welcome comfort, and the wifi connection was excellent. The on-site washer and dryer were convenient and affordable.

the dormitory pods had super comfortable and squidgy mattresses, and everything was clean and well-maintained. the social spaces were great for relaxing and eating, and the kitchen had all the necessary utensils for cooking meals. the staff were friendly and always eager to assist. the location was perfect for exploring the city, just a short walk from the old town and the bus/train stations. I had a wonderful experience at K's House and would definitely stay there again. Thank you!

The staff were friendly and provided a helpful area guide with great restaurant recommendations. the location was perfect, within walking distance to the train and bus stations as well as the local attractions. the room we stayed in was comfortable, and it was nice to have the option of a private room with a bathroom. the hostel had excellent wifi and convenient on-site laundry facilities. the kitchen was well-equipped, although we didn't get a chance to use it with all the fantastic dining options nearby. We would definitely choose K's House again for our next visit to Takayama.

The value for money was impressive, and my room was cute and comfortable. The location was perfect, just a few steps away from the old town and close to the train station. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and they even gave me a discount on bike hire for staying with them before.

The only thing that could have been better for breakfast was the selection of food options.

the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, even teaching my son how to make Origami and playing games with him. the private room on the 6th floor was comfortable and we had a great view of the New Year's Day fireworks. the kitchen and common areas were well-equipped and nicely furnished, and the location was convenient for exploring the local sites and transportation.

k's house takayama exceeded our expectations! the location was perfect, close to the train station and the old city. the staff was super helpful, especially eri-san who went above and beyond to help me find my lost bag. our room was comfortable and a great base for exploring. loved the cool ambiance in the lobby too!

We had a fantastic stay at K's House in Takayama. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always available to answer our questions and provide assistance. the rooms and restrooms were immaculately clean, perfect for a group of friends, family, or even a couple. the presence of an elevator was especially convenient for any elderly guests. the location was superb, with famous attractions just a short 5-10 minute walk away. If you prefer to rent a car, there is even a parking lot right across the street. Getting around was a breeze. We can't wait to return!

I just had an amazing stay at K's House in Takayama! the dormitory pods had incredibly comfortable mattresses that made for a cozy night's sleep. the entire hostel was spotlessly clean, and I especially loved the communal areas for eating and socializing. the kitchen was well-stocked with everything I needed to cook my own meals. the staff were incredibly friendly and always happy to assist with any questions I had. Plus, the location was perfect for exploring Takayama, with the old town and transportation stations just a short walk away. I would definitely choose K's House again for my future travels. the guest house is clean and beautiful, with comfortable beds and a very clean ensuite bathroom for the private room. it is conveniently located just a short walk from takayama jr station. the staff are friendly and welcoming, even hosting a sushi party for guests. i will definitely stay here again if i return to takayama.
