We had a fantastic stay at a traditional Japanese style guesthouse with a modern interior design. the room was spacious, allowing us to comfortably store our larger bags. Despite the freezing weather outside, the heater kept us warm. the staff at this inn were incredibly adorable and kind, always going out of their way to assist us. the quiet environment and plethora of nearby restaurants made for a pleasant atmosphere. the small kitchen with an oven, microwave, and refrigerator fringe allowed us to prepare our slight meals. the complimentary coffee and tea were a nice touch. the location of the inn made it easy for us to explore the town's main attractions.

The family room at Rickshaw Inn was perfect for our group of three. It felt just like a home with its spacious layout and great facilities including two heaters, a TV, sofa bed, and dining table. The futon beds were incredibly comfortable, and all of this came at a friendly price. We were pleasantly surprised by the convenient location, not too far from the attractions, and there was even a nearby convenience store.

We got great value for our money at Rickshaw Inn! The room was spotless, and the futons were super comfortable. The location was excellent, with easy walking access to restaurants and Old Town. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. Special shoutout to the young lady at the front desk who went above and beyond to show us around town and provide us with a map. The washer and dryer made laundry a breeze, and our room was cozy and perfect for our 3-night stay. We'll definitely be returning!

Lovely hotel. The staff were wonderful and welcoming, helping us plan our bus trip to Shirakawago and providing local suggestions. They even went out of their way to book an activity in Kanazawa for us. The location was perfect, with the train station and old town just a short walk away. The hotel had a cozy lounge area and the room had different heating options, making it warm and comfortable. Free tea in the lobby was a nice touch. a great experience.

We had a wonderful stay at a conveniently located inn in Takayama. The location was perfect, with a short walk to the station and the main part of town. The Hida folk village, just a mile away, was outstanding and worth the uphill walk. Our room was clean and spacious, similar to the average US hotel room, with comfortable beds and a great shower. The staff was friendly and tried their best to be helpful, despite the language barrier. The internet access was also impressive. we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay at the inn.
