We had a good experience staying at this traditional Japanese inn. The location was convenient, close to the town center and right next to a peaceful river. The room was spacious and neat, with a beautiful view from the balcony. The staff was polite and welcoming, and the meals were delicious. The inn also offered a private onsen and a public bath, both providing a relaxing experience. Additionally, there was a free shuttle service to the nearby public transport.

The lack of an elevator was inconvenient for guests with heavy luggage.

The hot springs and the spacious rooms were the best aspects of our stay at this hotel. The private onsen provided a perfect relaxation experience, and the size of the rooms was a pleasant surprise compared to other hotels we've stayed at in the past. Additionally, the location of the hotel was convenient, with key attractions and transportation easily accessible.

On the downside, the decor of the rooms was a bit tired and could do with a refresh. Another negative aspect was the cleanliness of the bathroom area, which looked a bit grimy and had a lot of spiders.

The hotel's location is ideal as it is quite near to the station, making it convenient for transportation. The staff were friendly and obliging, providing excellent service. The breakfast in the cafe next to the hotel was very good, with endless refills of coffee. Additionally, the hotel facilities were great, including the onsen baths which were loved by guests.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Hakone called Senkei for a relaxing getaway. The staff at Senkei were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. The room was spacious and luxurious, and I particularly enjoyed the public bath. The location, near a flowing river, added to the serene atmosphere. Senkei provided a fantastic experience.

This hotel offers excellent value for money. The traditional Japanese-style rooms with tatami mats are really nice and add to the overall experience. The attention to detail is evident, from the spaciousness of the rooms to the balcony overlooking the hotel and nearby river. The breakfast, served at 8am, is an elaborate affair and the in-room WiFi is a convenient bonus.

I recently stayed at a charming ryokan in Hakone for three nights. The staff at Yamagaso Annex were exceptional, particularly our room maid who made our stay extra special. The ambience of the ryokan is truly unique and I cannot wait to visit again. The meals provided were not only delicious but also beautifully presented. The location is perfect, just a short walk from Hakone Yumoto station, and the ryokan is nestled alongside a peaceful river. The segregated bath houses and open-air onsen on the roof were incredibly relaxing and a must-try experience in Japan. a great place to stay for a peaceful and relaxing getaway.
