I always return here for the wonderful memories and the helpful staff. the amenities like free Wi-Fi, restaurant, and beach access suit me perfectly. I lost a jewel once, and they found it for me. I am excited to come back for New Year.

Arrived early for a beach weekend. Helped with breakfast, great room, stunning ocean view with islands. Large room, onsen with ocean view. Comfy room near beach. Friendly staff, extensive delicious breakfast buffet, excellent parking, private beach, close to city.

The location of Shimoda Prince Hotel is absolutely unbeatable. Being right on the beautiful beach of Shirahama-chuo, it felt like having a private members beach in October. The view from the top floor rooms was fantastic, especially waking up to it in the morning. The staff were very helpful and welcoming, and the delicious breakfast spread had plenty of choices. Parking at the hotel was convenient, and it was just a short taxi ride away from Shimoda town center. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the hotel was, especially considering my previous experiences with other Prince hotels in Japan. I would definitely stay here again.

I had a great stay at the hotel with easy beach access. the staff was excellent, happy to help with anything we asked. the rooms were clean and comfortable, allowing for a peaceful and relaxing experience. the beautiful ocean views from the balcony were soothing, making it a perfect spot for a summer vacation.

We had a lovely New Year's stay and enjoyed the fireworks display from our room with stunning ocean views. the complementary yukata and onsen experience were a great addition. the location is right on the beach and makes for a relaxing stay.

The hotel is definitely showing its age and needs an update. the carpets in the halls were stained and the wallpaper was peeling in places.
