The wooden traditional style of the guesthouse added a special touch to the overall experience. The room was incredibly spacious and had all the amenities I needed. The host was extremely friendly and made me feel right at home. One thing that stood out was the cleanliness of the property - everything was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The beds were comfortable and provided enough space for my belongings. The owner also spoke English, which was a plus. Despite being a bit far from the bus terminal and surrounding attractions, the host provided a shuttle bus service and even gave me a timetable/schedule. I highly recommend this guesthouse for its comfort, cleanliness, friendly host, and traditional charm.

The staff is friendly and accommodating, ensuring a pleasant experience. the communal kitchen and lounge area offer a great space to prepare meals and meet other travelers.

I recently stayed at Shirakawago Guest House Kei for a few days while exploring the beautiful mountain views of Shirakawa. The staff were incredibly friendly and the beds were so comfortable. The hostel provided all the necessary amenities, and the food and drinks available for purchase were a great option, as there weren't many affordable restaurants or stores in the area. The house itself was stunning, with a perfect view of the mountains. The cool, quiet environment made for a relaxing and peaceful sleep. The owner's personal touch was heartwarming, as he waited for me to check-in and even said goodbye as I left. a warm and cozy experience in a modern, clean and authentic guest house.

I would be happy to recommend this hotel.

Exceptionally clean and new showers and toilets. Comfortable beds with extra room for luggage. Friendly and helpful staff who spoke good English.

Noise was a problem at night. A group of guests gathered in the main dining area and made a lot of noise until late, but no one told them to keep it down.
