Arrived late, but they were so happy to see me at 19:01! Had an amazing time ironing and faxing in the garden while eating their delicious meal. The 23 air-conditioned rooms made me feel like a queen.

Just loved the feeling of arriving late and not informing them. Made for such a fun surprise!

Hidden away in a cozy alley with beautiful gardens, the hotel provides a modern and serene atmosphere. The staff was kind and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. The location was convenient, with easy access to the train station and various attractions. We particularly loved the high-tech toilets and the selection of skincare products provided. The added bonus of a satisfying breakfast toast made our mornings even better.

The common areas in the hotel were on the smaller side, which could be a challenge during busy mornings. the limited number of toilets and washing areas caused minor inconveniences.

Conveniently located, friendly staff, beautiful wooden building, comfortable bathroom, ample amenities, basic breakfast provided on weekends and holidays.

Arrived late, no problem, polite and welcoming staff. They even offer an ironing service, in case you need to look posh like me. Lovely garden and shared lounge to impress your friends. Just remember to inform them if you come after 19:00. The restaurant has good food!

I really enjoyed the fully equipped kitchen, it was great being able to cook my own meals and save money. The staff was friendly and helpful, always willing to assist with any questions or requests.

Finding the hostel initially was a bit challenging, as it is tucked away and the name is not in English. It took me a little while to locate it.

I recently stayed at a great hostel in Kyoto called Shizuya. The location was really close to the station, making it convenient for exploring the city. The hostel itself was incredibly clean and cosy, with a lovely staff who were very helpful and explained everything I needed to know. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they even had a bath available for guests to use. The room I stayed in was larger than expected and had a window, which was a nice change from other capsule rooms I've stayed in. The kitchen was well stocked and they had cold water available at all times. I highly recommend Shizuya for its convenient location, cleanliness, and great amenities.

I really got great value for my money at Shizuya Kyoto. The room was clean and tidy, and the location was fantastic, close to the train station and yet tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. The staff were friendly and helpful, even carrying my heavy suitcase upstairs for me.

The breakfast experience could be improved with a wider variety of options.
