I had such a wonderful experience at Syukubo Ekoin Temple in Koyasan. The monks were all very courteous and approachable, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The room setup and delicious meals served by the staff were exceptional. The night cemetery walking tour to Kobo Daishi shrine, led by the monk guide, Nobu, was both informative and entertaining. Additionally, the location of the temple on the main street made transportation convenient, with buses stopping directly at the temple. The stunning view from my room and the lovely onsen were icing on the cake.

We had an amazing stay at a temple in a peaceful garden setting. The room was beautiful with a nice view and a modern bathroom. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The best aspects were the interesting activities like meditation and the fire ceremony. The location was very convenient, close to the main attraction and made it easy to explore. The breakfast was also delicious. We couldn't stay longer!

We had a fantastic stay at this temple. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the hotel facilities were top-notch. We also appreciated the convenient parking and the easy transportation options available. The location was perfect, as it was close to many temples and right next to the historic Buddhist cemetery. We loved being able to visit the famous Okunoin cemetery just across the street. Additionally, the breakfast provided was delicious, and the staff were friendly and accommodating.

The hotel offers beautifully kept rooms with autumnal colors in the gardens. The futons are comfortable, and the meals provided are delicious. The monks are polite and helpful with luggage, and guests can participate in various activities such as meditation, morning ceremonies, and fire rituals. It is conveniently located near the entrance to the cemetery.

We had an incredible stay at the temple and gardens. the rooms were comfortable, the facilities were impeccable, and the meals served privately in the rooms were absolutely delicious. the monks provided a warm welcome and gave us a great introduction to meditation and their ceremonies. the location near Okuno-in was perfect, especially for the nighttime tour managed by the monks. the morning meditation and the Goma fire ritual were both highlights of our stay. it was a wonderful way to experience the beauty of Koyasan.
