I had a fantastic stay at a hotel in a great neighborhood with various options for food. the location was near everything in a nice neighborhood, making it easy to explore by foot. the staff were friendly and accommodating, providing helpful recommendations. the cleanliness and comfort of the room exceeded my expectations.

During our recent family trip to Kyoto, we stayed at Machiya Ebisuya for three nights. Our spacious garden room with a kitchenette and washer/dryer was a real highlight, along with the convenient laundry facilities for all guests. the location was ideal, within walking distance of bustling markets and public transport. the staff were exceptionally helpful, and the Japanese bath was a perfect way to relax after a day of exploring. We will definitely book here again.

I keep returning for their excellent service and convenient amenities. the staff once kindly helped return my forgotten headphones. the place has Wi-Fi, laundry, flat-screen TV, and no smoking. It suits me perfectly. I'll be back for Christmas.

The location was great as it was walking distance to train stations and had convenience stores nearby. the room was also comfortable and had a washing machine/dryer combo, which was really convenient for a city trip. the front desk staff were helpful in providing recommendations for local activities to try out.

The soundproofing in the rooms was poor, so loud noises from nearby facilities can be a problem. there were no "do not disturb" signs, so the cleaning staff would sometimes come in unexpectedly and disrupt our sleep.
