Absolutely loved my stay at this beautiful hotel in Kyoto. From the moment I walked through the peaceful entrance, I was captivated by the stunning architecture and design. The service was impeccable, and check-in was a breeze with a host waiting to take me directly to my room. The bathroom was like a dream, with a soaking tub and an amazing shower. The breakfast buffet was delicious, especially the eggs Benedict. The pool and spa were serene and relaxing, and the concierge team provided excellent recommendations. I had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this hotel.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to assist us. They even helped us purchase pain killers for my girlfriend when she had a headache late at night. The hotel is located right on the river, providing a stunning view. It is also situated in a lovely wooded neighborhood, making it the perfect place to relax after a long day of sightseeing. The hotel facilities were top-notch, with a spacious and well-designed room that had plenty of space for tea time or in-room dining. The bed was super comfortable, and we appreciated the generous dining table and chairs. The breakfast was delicious, with highlights including croissants and eggs. The staff also provided umbrellas and water in our car on a rainy day, showing their exceptional hospitality. We look forward to coming back!

The service at this hotel was truly exceptional from the moment we arrived. The staff made us feel like royalty and went out of their way to ensure our every need was met. We especially enjoyed the personalized art tour, where we learned the stories behind each piece and felt a deeper connection to the art. The location of the hotel was also perfect, situated by the river and away from the hustle and bustle of the city center. We loved being able to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Additionally, the option to have our bags shipped between cities made our travel experience much more convenient.

While the breakfast at the hotel was good, it didn't quite live up to our expectations. We were hoping for more variety and a truly memorable dining experience.

The luxury rooms were beautifully decorated and the artwork throughout the hotel was impressive. The hotel's location was also very convenient, close to restaurants, shops, and key attractions. Additionally, the check-in experience was excellent, with friendly and helpful staff.

There were some negative aspects of my stay. The concierge took an extremely long time to respond to my requests before my stay, and even during my stay, they provided incomplete information.

The location was perfect, with many stores and the main avenue just a short walk away. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. The luxurious facilities and rooms exceeded my expectations, with a modern Japanese design and all the conveniences of a Western-style hotel. The food options were excellent, with a choice between Japanese cuisine and international dishes. I also appreciated the small smoking section during the day and the smoking room at the bar at night.

I couldn't find any negative aspects during my stay. It was an overall amazing experience.

This hotel is amazing! the staff were super friendly and helpful during our city break. the location was perfect, just a short walk to many restaurants and shops. the room was beautiful with incredible attention to detail. the breakfast had the best croissants and pastries I've ever tasted and the pool was just perfect! Plus, they offered complimentary bike and walking tours which were so helpful for exploring the city.

Honestly, there wasn't anything I didn't like about this hotel. It exceeded my expectations in every aspect and made our city break truly special.

My partner and I had a wonderful time at The Ritz-Carlton in Kyoto. We stayed for four nights and loved every moment. The hotel is beautifully designed and the staff are incredibly attentive and friendly. The gym and spa facilities were excellent, especially for weightlifting enthusiasts like us. The bar and restaurants offered delicious food and the breakfasts and dinner at the Mizuki restaurant were exceptional. We also enjoyed participating in activities such as the kimono experience, cycling, and origami. The riverview room we stayed in was absolutely wonderful. the hospitality and location of the hotel were outstanding. We will definitely be coming back!
